I’m Julie.
God called me to minister to the homeless and hungry here in Nashville, Tennessee, when I came back to see my sister for the last time as she was dying from breast cancer.
No matter what we go through on earth, what I do know for sure is that God Loves us. Jesus came to earth and sacrificed Himself for us, and He sits on His Throne today. And Holy Spirit lives within us, leading and guiding us every step of the way.
God really does turn mourning into joy. He turned the saddest time, a time of deep grief, into a blessing for me and so many other people just when He was raising my sister up with Him. He’s God, and He can do anything.
“I will turn their mourning into joy; I will comfort them and give them gladness for sorrow.”

He’s so Good all the time.
The whole story of the ministry and the call to make this documentary on the homeless is a God-story, filled with Him in every step.
It’s His ministry and His documentary, which He wants to use to fulfill the vision He has given me to help the homeless and hungry on a large scale. All while using the love for film He gave me when I studied it in college.
It can be a little overwhelming, to be honest, because I know how much He wants to do.
But I am committed to Him and to the call He has given me.
