What Does God Want?

God wants to change our hearts to His heart so that we act. He wants no one sleeping outside in this great country.

God knows the urgency of the plight of the homeless. He knows time is short—for them and for us.

One Vietnam veteran told us one night that he wasn’t religious but that he heard God say to him that day, “Someone is going to give you a bus ticket home.”

He said shortly afterwards a business man walked up to him on the bench by the river and said, “I’m not religious, but God just told me to give you a bus ticket home.”

He told us about his duties in Vietnam and what happened to his best friends from there after the war, stories of addiction and mental illness and suicide.

Talking to us that night, sitting with a cane beside him, he knew he wasn’t in good health, but he was going home out west to see family for the first time in decades.

Help us make this Holy Spirit-led, true-story film now. So that we’re doing what God wants us to do—together.

“Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the LORD, and He will repay him for his deed.”
~ Proverbs 19:17
