We answer God’s call to make a documentary on the homeless to change people’s hearts and to show how much He Loves them.
We know Jesus’ Love for the homeless from ministering to them.
James from a southern state loves preaching. He would always lead prayer for his group where he slept, and he always started with, “Lord, thank you for watching over us last night.” He knew the danger of sleeping outside, and he turned to Jesus intently.
He lost his apartment when he had multiple surgeries for cellulitis. He said he was stubborn and thought he could take care of himself, but he lost his job as a delivery driver because of his medical condition.
Sleeping outside, he struggled with alcohol just as his family had when he was growing up.
With this documentary, we answer God’s call to bring His people back to Him. Back to His Kingdom where He can save them and take care of them.
Through His Word. Through His Love. Through His answer to their prayers and to their need.
This film is real. Maybe too real for some people.
But we answer God’s call all the same.
